APRICOT NECTAR CAKE

This is from Betty M.

Cake:

  • 1 Yellow Cake Mix (2 layer)
  • 1 Box Lemon Jello (3 oz.)
  • 3/4 Cup Apricot Nectar
  • 3/4 Cup Wesson Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Flavoring (extract)
Mix the above ingredients together.
Add 4 Eggs to the mixture one at a time and beat after each one.
Grease and flour a 13" x 9" baking pan.

Glaze:

  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Lemon Juice
Pour Cake Mix into baking pan.
Bake at 325 degrees F for 55 minutes. Do Not open the oven during this time.
Remove cake and punch holes all over the cake with a fork.
Pour the Glaze on top.
