ICED MOCHAS

We have a little ritual every day around 5:00 in the afternoon. We have hot mochas in the winter and blended iced mochas in the summer. It gives us a little time to unwind, talk about the day and just be with each other.
Here is our summer mocha recipe:

  • 1 Cup Half-and-Half or 2% Milk
  • 1 teaspoon sugar or equivalent sweetener
  • 1 Cup Espresso
  • 2 - 4 Ounces of Flavored Syrup
  • Vanilla Extract and/or Cinnamon to taste.
  • 2 - 3 Cups of Ice Cubes
Mix all the ingredients, except the Ice Cubes, in a blender.
Place it in the freezer for an hour or the refrigerator for at least two hours.
Turn on the blender and slowly add the ice cubes until it starts to thicken. You can make it any consistency you like but we like ours not too thick.
Grab your sweetie pie, head for the deck and enjoy.
