Here is a really fun little project to make a tree ornament with a twist, you get to eat it but not until after Christmas. Make lots of them and then you get to eat lots of candy.

Here's what you'll need:

• Plastic Medicine Cups with Lids. Don't dump out your parent's medicine; you can get your own at the craft store.
• 1/4" Red Ribbon
• 1/4" Green Ribbon
• 1/8" Red or Green Ribbon
• Brown Pipe Cleaner or Chenille, 10"
• Hot Melt Glue
• Brown Pom Pom
• Craft Eyes
• Red Hots, candy

Fill two Medicine Cups with Red Hots and put the lids on.
Hot melt glue the side of one to the bottom of the other.
Bend the Pipe Cleaner in half and make antlers.
Hot glue the antlers and 1/8" ribbon to the lid of the top Medicine Cup.
Glue on Craft Eyes to the sides of the top Medicine Cup.
Glue the Brown Pom Pom onto the bottom of the top Medicine Cup.
Tie the Red and Green 1/4" Ribbons around the neck of your reindeer.

You can put raisins in the Medicine Cups and use a red pom pom for you know who.

Now make a bunch of them for your tree and to give as gifts to your friends.
