Clothespin Hot Pad

These hot pads are not only good looking but very functional. You folks will love them because they protect the furniture from hot things and because you made them.

Here's what you'll need:

  • 6 1/4" x 6 1/4" piece of cardboard
  • White Glue and Tacky Glue.
  • A piece of material big enough to cover the cardboard.
  • Flat, craft, clothespins.
Flat, Craft, clothespins are fun to arrange into different patterns. The pattern we've chosen is only one. You can make them into a starburst, a wagon wheel or just about anything else that catches your fancy.
Wrap and glue a piece of cloth around the cardboard.
Glue the clothespins together and then onto the cloth base.
