This is a very old recipe that comes from Irene Graham.
Wash off with water and drain. Soak in water for 4 hours. Heat the following ingredients until dissolved;
Pour over Cucumbers. Let stand overnight. In the morning simmer for 35 minutes then put in jars. This recipe makes 7 quarts of pickles and 3 extra quarts of pickle juice.
