This is basically a piecrust recipe but for Presidents Day put cherry filling in it.

  • 2 Cups Sifted Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Cup Crisco
  • 1/2 Cup Water
Slowly add Flour and Salt to the Crisco and blend until mixed.
Add Water as needed, usually not all the water.
After adding the water the dough will appear too wet, it's not.
Roll out with lots of flour.
Add Cherry Pie Filling and you are good to go.
Bake at 350 degrees F. until done.
