MAMA'S UPSIDE-DOWN CAKE
In loving memory of Betty Montgomery. This recipe was one of her very favorites and we thought you would enjoy it too. Mama's Upside-down Cake
Mama's Upside-down Cake
Pour the Fruit on top.
Cream together Butter, Egg, Sugar and Vanilla.
In a separate bowl sift together dry ingredients.
Alternately add dry ingredients and warm water into the creamed mixture.
Pour on top of the Fruit.
Bake at 350 to 375 degrees F for 25 to 35 minutes.
Remove from oven and let set for 5 minutes.
Turn over on a serving plate.
After you fix this you'll see why it was one of Betty's favorites and one of ours. Her most favorite was to us Pineapple.
