We told you to let the grass and weeds grow and now we are going to cut them down. I thought I had a picture of this but can't find it so will have to explain it. Take your weed eater and shape the yard to match your model and design. If you have a river, path or pond planned you can strip the grass/weeds all the way down to dirt. This gives you a good feel for how it will flow visually. While we were planning our yard we found that after the grass was cut down we didn't quite like the way it looked. This caused us to change the flow to make it look better. After you've cut your plan walk around and look at it from all angles. Look at it from your house or deck. Once you have it just the way you want it get some Upside Down paint and paint all your features. Now you can go ahead and cut down the rest of the grass and weeds to give you a fresh start.
